2017 Calling in Power and Culture: Revolutionizing Coach Education

September 16 -17. 2017

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Revolutionizing Coach Education

What’s getting in the way of coach trainers and educators integrating culture in a way that factors in the dynamics of power, privilege and rank, individually, interpersonally and institutionally–and in our coaching profession as a whole?

How do our blindspots as coach trainer and educators compromise the outcomes we want to create in our training rooms and coaching schools?

How do we have real, risk-taking dialogue where we call each other IN rather than calling each other OUT?

Join us for Calling In Power & Culture where we:

  • Question and challenge your own deeply held assumptions, beliefs and related biases that can create barriers to creating and sustaining climates of inclusion. (The “I”)
  • Come together as a professional industry with the intention of co-creating an elevated global mindset. (The “WE”)
  • Devise practical applications in improving coach training and education curriculum and embedding diversity into our respective organization’s culture and reach. (The “IT”)

Participants will create awareness about their perceptions, roles and experiences and how they can be involved to affect change, and what the impact would be on their world.

Is This Event For Me?

Calling in Power & Culture brings together mindful current and aspiring coach trainers and educators to push the industry into exploring experimental coaching models. Attendees are revolutionaries that participate in a global mastermind, sharing research from successes and learnings from the roadblocks that we encounter in our journeys.

Do I need to be a coach educator or trainer to attend the Power & Culture Summit?
