choice, the magazine of professional coaching is pleased to be the new sponsor of the Coach of the Year program. This award is being made available globally starting with it's roots in Canada. The choice Canadian Coach of the Year Award is presented annually at the International Coach Federation conference. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2011 award. The nomination deadline is August 31st.

The choice Canadian Coach of the Year Award is open to all ICF coaches in Canada, according to the eligibility guidelines outlined in the nomination package. Nominations are accepted from both nominators (on behalf of the nominee) and by nominees themselves (self-nomination). The nomination package is available for download in English (PDF), English (Word Document) and in French (PDF), or French (Word Document).

Nominations are encouraged for Canadian coaches who exemplify professional excellence and who meet the following criteria:

A professional coach, credentialed by the International Coach Federation (i.e., ACC, PCC, MCC) OR certified by a training school accredited by the International Coach Federation prior to July 31of this year
A current member in good standing with the International Coach Federation
A full-time professional coach residing in Canada for at least one full year preceding the nomination
A coach who has NOT won the Canadian Coach of the Year award in the past 5 years

This award was formally known as the Coaches Canada Canadian Coach of the Year Award.

Complete the $25 administration fee payment on-line.
